“Living among the beauty of the California landscape and sunny weather easily ignites
the flow of the creative process.  I am inspired to sketch and paint the bloom of colors in gardens,
the glistening of the waves of the ocean, the glow of the sun on a face.
As I depict the temperament of a person or the movement of gradated tones on an object,
I foster a deep connection with the images on my canvas.  In continually striving to reach
new levels, I have developed a range of work that encompasses pastoral landscapes and
beatific still lifes, whimsically designed as well as more traditionally styled portraits, and,
most recently, playful explorations in composition and perspective.
My goal, as a lifelong artist, is to inspire an emotional response from the viewer
with my visual interpretations of ever evolving ideas."
